The Fondation Louis Vuitton is hosting a major retrospective dedicated to one of the most influential artists of our time: David Hockney. Titled “David Hockney 25”, the exhibition will run from April 9 to August 31, 2025, offering a fascinating journey through over 50 years of artistic creation. With more than 400 works on display, ranging from paintings and drawings to digital works and videos, this retrospective offers a comprehensive view of the richness, diversity and evolution of Hockney’s work, famous for its vibrant colors and innovative compositions.

The exhibition spans the eleven galleries of the Louis Vuitton Foundation, located at 8 avenue du Mahatma Gandhi, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. David Hockney personally participated in the scenography, in collaboration with his assistant Jonathan Wilkinson, thus offering visitors an immersive, coherent and deeply personal experience that reflects his unique artistic universe.

It is open every day except Tuesday, from 10am to 8pm (night on Friday until 11pm). The entrance fee is €16 per person, with discounts for those under 26 years old and free for those under 3 years old.

To reach the Fondation Louis Vuitton from the hotel 15 Montparnasse (153 Rue de Vaugirard, 75015 Paris), the metro journey is simple and fast. Take line 6 at station Pasteur, direction Nation, then get off at Charles de Gaulle – Étoile. From there, change to line 1 towards La Défense and get off at the station Les Sablons. The Foundation is located about 10 minutes on foot, in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne. The total travel time is about 35 minutes.
