La Fabrique du Temps is a fascinating temporary exhibition proposed by the Musée de La Poste, located at 34 boulevard de Vaugirard, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. Visible from March 26 to November 3, 2025, it invites visitors to explore the deep links between the Post and the notion of time, from the regularity of tours to works of art that question our temporal perception, between constraints, subjectivity and memory.

The exhibition brings together a hundred heritage objects (post office clocks, calendars, postman’s watches, almanachs, etc.) and nearly fifty contemporary works of art signed notably On Kawara, Roman Opalka, Susanna Hertrich or other international and emerging artists. It is organized into three complementary aspects: In real time, on the measurement and mastery of time; Playing with time, which explores its distortions, slowdowns, accelerations; and Over the days, an introspective dive into lived time, felt, sometimes suspended.

The museum is open every day except Tuesday, from 11am to 6pm (last entry at 5:15pm). The full price is €9, the reduced price is €5. Admission is free on the first Sunday of each month, as well as for those under 26 years old, La Poste subscribers, people with disabilities, and several other audiences.

From the Hotel 15 Montparnasse, the museum is accessible on foot in less than 10 minutes. It is located right next to the Montparnasse train station, which makes it an ideal place to visit during a stay or a passage in Paris. Easily accessible, this exhibition is a great opportunity to combine heritage, contemporary art and reflection on our relationship with time.
