A prestigious equestrian event in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne
The Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is a must-attend event for horse racing enthusiasts. Created in 1920, this prestigious race is held every year at the Hippodrome de Paris Longchamp, in the green setting of the Bois de Boulogne in Paris. The event brings together the best international horses and jockeys for a very high-level competition over a distance of 2,400 meters.
In 2025, the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe will take place on 4 and 5 October, with the main race on Sunday, 5 October. The racecourse opens its doors from 11am, and the first races start around 1pm. The program also includes animations, gastronomic stands and an elegant, festive and international atmosphere.
Entrance fees vary according to the area: around €10 to €30 for a standard ticket, and more for reserved or VIP areas. Admission is free for children under 12, making the event accessible to families. Special shuttles are often set up during the event to facilitate access.
From the Hotel 15 Montparnasse, it is easy to get to the racecourse. Take metro line 10 at Duroc station (direction Boulogne – Pont de Saint-Cloud), get off at Porte d'Auteuil, then walk about 15 minutes to the main entrance.
The Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is much more than a race: it’s a Parisian tradition, a meeting of sporting excellence and elegance. This is a unique opportunity to attend one of the greatest races in the world in an exceptional setting.
